So you've made it through being a recruit and the nightmare is over. Or is it?

Now you're a ground unit. Granted, you get to do more things and leave the Nexus at your own will, but this only puts your life more in danger.

Now you're following orders, responding to requests, joining in on sweeps, beating the occasional citizen, and guarding the city administration.

This is what you're training has prepared you for, the real hell.

Here's a general rundown of standard equipment.

Rubber gloves: To isolate the hands from external pathogens, as well from electricity.
Jack Boots w/ steel toes: To isolate the feet from external wounds, and to protect it on heavy landscapes.
Overwatch grade kevlar: To protect the unit from basic, low-caliber bullets, at long and close range. The vest will also offer slight protection against shrapnel as well as explosions.
Wool coat: To give the unit basic clothing, as well as high temperature protection and knives.
Duty assigned armband: To identify the designated unit's rank.
Two duty belts: To hold any holstered and/or holstered tools/weapons, like radios, or the stun baton.
BDU: To give the officer basic clothing.
Modified PBF gasmask: To resist any kind of fumes and gases.
Vocoder: To mask the unit's citizen voice, giving a threatening stance.
ECG System: To identify the unit's current bio-signal.
Radio: To communicate with the official sector/district radio channel.
Electroshock baton: To be used against aggressive subjects, or as punishment.
Ties: To be used on any potential suspect.

Next up, you'll be expected to know the rank structure in its entirety. Please note that this may change, so keep tabs on it often.

Additional notes.

The difference between CCA and MPF is distinguishable by acknowledging that you must complete 2 SWORD ranks (become a SWORD 03) before gaining the ability to join a CCA division.

You have the option to stay within the SWORD division and attempt to work your way up the ranks.

Once you become a SWORD-03 you may speak with your divisional leader and the divisional leader of the division you wish to join, and they will evaluate whether or not you are capable of another division.

Orders must come directly from a commanding unit. Ground units are only to give orders when a commanding unit is not present, or is unable to give orders in a combat situation (I.E. commanding unit dies/gets heavily injured and loses consciousness).

When transferring to a CCA division, you will start at the rank of 04 within said division.

A SWORD OfC may transfer to a CCA rank of 01.
