Vortigaunts in HL2RP is a great experience and both enslaved and free are fun factions, however the Enslaved faction isn’t extremely important and this will be about free vortigaunts.
Free Vortigaunts Introduction
Free vortigaunts are vortigaunts that have escaped the Combine or never were caught. They usually stay in the sewers or slums to avoid Combine and Civil Protection. It is a very enjoyable faction under the right control.

Appearance
4 red eyes, one large and three at the top of it.
Back-Jointed legs which means they run slower than humans as well as donning an awkward posture.
Three arms, one is on the chest and is used for feeding.
Two rectums.
Four nipples.
No tongue or teeth on their lower jaw, however they speak fluent English, with a strange accent and some sort of speech impediment on certain letters.

Roleplaying a Free Vortigaunt
As a free Vortigaunt you have to establish that your main priority is survival. You are wanted by CP’s and the Universal Union in general and if found you will be enslaved or even killed. Showing off your Vortessence is not the way you should be roleplaying. Typical food is Headcrabs and Antlion parts but they will eat human food if necessary.

You don’t speak perfect English, which means that you might not know complex words and may have difficulty pronouncing some words. Vortigaunts mostly speak in third person but in Episode 2 they speak in first person so either would most likely be acceptable.
Third Person: “This one” First Person: “I”
In the games Vortigaunts are often known for saying “The” in front of names; “The Freeman”.
The Vortessence
The Vortessence is a power only available to vortigaunts. It is untapped into by humans and Combine so when speaking in Vortigese (language) or telepathically through the Vortessence they don’t know what you’re saying. The green electricity bolt seen by vortigaunts is powered by the Vortessence; it is quite powerful and could probably kill or badly wound somebody with a powered charge. I would suggest that when using this power, three /me’s would be suitable so it isn’t spammed. You should use your powers sparingly because electrocuting everybody you see isn’t the image you want. This power can be used to charge electrical devices and heal wounds. With an Antlion Extract your powers are bolstered higher and if you have 4 vortigaunts and the Antlion Extract it is possible for teleportation or reviving a recently deceased body.
